Lovely and spacious garden suite with private bath and separate entrance from main house, located in the exclusive and gated community of Pebble Beach. -Private covered patio -Exclusive use of sunroom with kitchenette and full size fridge for light meals - 2 queen beds -Close to The Lodge, 5 min drive to Carmel -Great value for the area with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Note: You do not have to come into the main house to access this guest suite. The space This is a spacious guest suite overlooking our beautiful gardens and a zen like water feature that is ideal for up to four guests looking to get away from everything for a relaxing time in a magical and very beautiful part of the world. Ideal for guests that like to spend the day out exploring the area. This community is super quiet and very peaceful- no white noise and no streetlights so it is super dark in the evenings. There are two queen beds and a large adjoining bathroom with walk in shower. Exclusive use of a beautiful sunroom with large picture windows and skylights. Small kitchenette for light meals and snacks and an outdoor patio- smoking is only allowed outside. Sorry, no pets. Check in after 4pm/ check out before 11am. You will have access to parking on the property (please check with us in advance if you have more than 1 car) . There are no stairs to access the suite from the driveway. You will have exclusive use of the guest suite (bedroom, bathroom and sunroom) and are welcome to enjoy the covered patio area directly behind the suite. The sunroom area is for your exclusive use during your stay and is equipped with a kitchenette for light meals and snacks. Please no heavy cooking or strong lingering odors as the ventilation is shared with our main home. Please note that the bedroom area is super private and has blinds and curtains. The sunroom area is less private at certain times of the day due to all of the glass windows and doors. You may on occasion see us from the sunroom if we are in the backyard. We also open up the blinds from our home during the day to enjoy more sunlight and views of our back garden. Blinds are closed in the evening for maximum privacy for both us and guests. The sunroom has three sliding doors- one between the sunroom and bedroom suite (this door can be locked by guests from the inside), one between the sunroom and the exterior patio (this is the private entrance for guests and can be locked from the outside), and one between the sunroom and our main home where we live. This door is kept locked at all times. We have privacy blinds on this door that on occasion we open during the day to let sunlight into our home and to allow us to enjoy views of our rear garden- visible from the sunroom windows. When guests are using this space we try to be very respectful and keep the blinds closed. We typically only open them between 11 and 4, or while guests are out. We work away from home most days. Other things to note This suite is ideal for up to four guests and an infant (portable crib and high chair available upon request- please request before arrival as we keep them stored in the garage). Two additional guests can be accommodated upon request (6 guests max) if you bring your own air mattress(s). We are animal lovers, but we are unable to accommodate pets in this guest suite. There are a few neighborhood outdoor kitties that frequent the yard most days, they are very friendly. There is a microwave, sink and fulll size fridge for guests to use in our sunroom, as well as a table and chairs for four. There is also complimentary coffee and tea, as well as a Brita water pitcher with filter. We also provide a convection hot plate, a pot and frying pan, utensils and dishes, a toaster, a kettle and a coffee pot as well as a Keurig coffee maker (with pods) and filters and tea bags are provided. There is also a cuisinart air fryer. Please do not overload the circuits by using more than two high wattage appliances at a time. We charge a low cleaning fee. If you spill food or drinks on the carpet or damage any of the furnishings there may be additional fees charged for extra cleaning or repairs.
