A quiet secluded log cabin on the banks of the beautiful South Toe River. After a day of kayaking, fishing, tubing and sunbathing; gather around the fire pit for a bonfire. Wake up to the sounds of nature as you sip your coffee from the swing on the covered porch. Take a break from your busy life to relax by a romantic fire in the rock wood-burning fireplace. This cabin offers the cozy, rustic feel of a mountain cabin with the modern conveniences of today. The fun is ready to begin with the provided kayaks and tubes. Eat out at any of our local restaurants or grill in with a fully stocked kitchen. A day of exploration could include hiking, mining for gems at a local gem mine, visiting the studios of our many local artists, antique shopping or an exciting night on the town in the nearby city of Asheville. Sleeps 4: Main Floor Bedroom- Queen size bed Upstairs Loft- Queen size bed, Twin size bed Living Room- Fireplace, TV Modern Conveniences: wi-fi, Direct TV, DVD player, charging station for multiple devices. Furnished Essentials: - Bed Linens and Pillows, Bath Towels (we recommend guests bring blankets durning the colder months.) - Essential kitchen items (not including condiments or spices) - Start-up supply: 1 Bathroom tissue, facial tissue, 3 garbage bags and cleaning samples for the dishwasher and laundry. Please note that this is only a start-up kit, you will need to replenish on your own during your vacation. - Firewood for the fire pit next to the river and the living room fireplace We welcome your fur baby at our cabin but due to the extra cleaning, we do charge a flat $75 pet fee. There are a few house rules and we request that there be a limit of 2 pets. Very Clean! We use CDC approved disinfectant cleaners and follow a strict cleaning protocol. We proudly encourage you to check out our reviews! You will be able to access the whole cabin. There is a local host available for any questions or problems that arise. The cabin is located on 7 acres bordering the beautiful South Toe River. Guests can enjoy being completely isolated from the hustle and bustle of the world or get out and explore the many sights and scenes in the surrounding areas. A cabin across the river is partially visible but other than that, there is no one to be seen around the wooded acres the cabin is nestled in.
