Hidden among the greenery of Knebworth village, Peaceful Country Cottage is where the noise of city life fades out and the good stuff fades in — long lunches in the garden, games with the kids, and evenings around the fire pit that somehow turn into midnight. It's private, it's playful, and there's genuinely something here for everyone. Inside, the cottage sleeps in comfort: a king room and three doubles, two bathrooms, and proper kitchen, living and dining spaces to gather in. It's all on one floor too, so it's an easy, accessible stay for everyone. Then there's the outside, which is really where the magic happens. Step into your own private gardens and you'll find a marquee built for 15+ guests — fire pit, dining table, extra seating, privacy curtains and all — plus a bar shack with a Weber BBQ (gas on us). Fire up the outdoor projector and screen, connect your PS5, and let the evening run long under the heating and lights. There's a gym for the early risers, a kids' play area with a basketball hoop, picnic tables dotted about, and your own slice of private woodland to wander. A few honest details, so you know exactly what you're booking: Private parking is free for up to 4 cars, with any extra charged at £10 per car, per day. The cottage is a self-contained annex, about 25m from the main house where the owners live. Another property sits roughly 40m away and is also listed on Airbnb. Due to the estate's location, you may hear some road noise from the nearby A1. We're set on a countryside estate, so don't be surprised to see the odd animal wandering by — it's all part of the charm. Celebrating something?
