Starboard on McKeil Point is a beautiful 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath private waterfront home on five acres overlooking the wide water of Fishing Creek - the perfect compound for families & groups. The house features water views from every turn. Outdoor amenities include a generous screened-in porch, a private dock, a sandy beach, a heated salt water pool & a hot tub. There is also a one bedroom apartment on the second floor of the carpenter's barn which sleeps 6 and includes a full bath and kitchenette. The space When you walk through the front door you'll be greeted by an open dining room/living room with expansive water views. The family room has ample seating with two sofas and two swivel chairs and a 65 inch TV with DirecTV. The adjoining library area has an additional swivel chair and a writing desk. Walk through the french doors to a screened-in porch with a comfortable seating area and an extension table for outdoor meals. The dining room features two seating areas with one round table overlooking the water and a dining room table with two extensions should you be feeding a large crowd. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with seating for six, two dishwashers, two refrigerators, a double oven, a butcher block island and plenty of stainless steel counter space. The large, first floor master suite has a king sized bed, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with a large shower and double sinks. The first floor also has a large mudroom with a sink, shower, laundry area and connects to the pool deck. The second floor welcomes you with a wide landing and two bedrooms and a bathroom on either side. The north side bedrooms include two king bedrooms. The south side bedrooms include a king bedroom and a kids bedroom with one queen bed and three twin beds. All four bedrooms have water views and large closets. The second floor bathrooms each have a tub/shower and single vanity. The barn apartment bedroom has two twin beds and a full bed. There is a living room with a sectional, a flat screen TV and a queen size futon. There is also a kitchenette and a full bath. Guest access Guests have access to two single kayaks, a double kayak and two standup paddle boards to explore the surrounding waters. Use of the kayaks and SUPs are strictly at the users own risk and life preservers must be worn. Other things to note Fiber optic, high speed wifi now available! Bed linens and bath towels are provided, please bring your own pool/beach towels. The heated pool is open from mid-April to mid-October; the hot tub is open year-round. Cleaning fee: $300 Maryland State Tax: 6% Dorchester County Tax: 5% Spring through fall, our boat and jet skis are stored on lifts at the dock. Swimming in Fishing Creek or surrounding waters is strictly at the renters own risk. No RVs or commercial vehicles. Groups under age 25 prohibited, prior views preferred.
