Unwind with family or friends at this spacious cabin located on 5 wooded acres on Anderson Lake. Whether you're looking for a weeklong stay or a quick weekend getaway, Maple Hideaway, with all its amenities, is sure to have something for everyone. Take a soak in the hot tub, relax in the sauna, enjoy a game with the family, make s’mores at the fire pit, take a dip in the lake or go ice fishing. We hope this is a place where many special memories are made. Licensed/inspected by state of MN. The space 2800 sq ft cabin built on 5 acres of wooded lake front. (PLEASE NOTE: there is a separate property/cabin just next door to the south of our cabin that shares our driveway. The cabins and deck are visible to each other. Each cabin has their own parking. See notes on parking under the Guest Access heading.) There is private lake access with a dock on the property (no boat access). (Public access to the lake is just to the north of the property if bringing a boat. Boats can be tied to the dock.) There are 2 sets of stairs with railing heading down to the lake. The beach area is still a work in progress as this property is new. There is a dock with bench and beach chairs. 2 kayaks, 1 paddleboard, 1 canoe, a pedal boat, and row boat are provided for guest use, but all users are responsible for their own safety and actions while using them. Use at your own risk. There are a variety of lifejackets available for use as well. The cabin is 3 stories. (Bedroom location) 1. upstairs/loft area (2nd story) with master bedroom (king) and attached bathroom (soaker tub and walk in shower) 2. Main floor has 1 bedroom (queen) and full bathroom (not attached) 3. Basement has bunk room and bedroom (king) and full bathroom (not attached.) Pack-n-play located in basement bedroom closet. The kitchen is stocked with service for 12 and all common kitchenware including: pots and pans, baking sheets and Pyrex, coffee maker, electric water kettle, toaster, blender, and hand mixer. Coffee, salt, pepper, and oil (for basic cooking) are provided. You Tube TV is available for your use if you want to catch the game or cozy up and watch a movie. The pool table and foosball table are in the basement. There is a variety of board games and card games for all ages to enjoy. There are a few Lego Duplo, waffle building tiles, magnatiles, and a few kids books (in the bunk room) as well as giant connect four. Washer and dryer are in the utility room at the bottom of the basement stairs. You are welcome to do laundry as needed. Replacement linens for the beds/towels are not available to guests during their stay, but you are free to wash as needed. The fire pit is located in a clearing down towards the lake. Firewood and fire starter are provided. Hot tub/Sauna - We are happy to now have a 7-person salt water hot tub just off the deck on the patio. Just across is a wet/dry sauna. These are for our guests only. 10 beach towels are provided for lake/outdoor use or you can bring your own. We ask that the white towels not be brought outside. Guest access Prior to arrival, you will be given a code to access the cabin. During your stay, you have access to the cabin (except one locked closet upstairs), the hot tub and sauna, the yard, the fire pit, the lake, and the surrounding woods. There is parking for 3 vehicles in front of the cabin. Any other vehicles will have to park in the extra parking down toward the beginning of the driveway. Reminder: there is another cabin next door to the south. The parking areas are connected but they are two separate properties. Please be mindful of noise levels and respect their privacy by staying on the north property. Please do not park on the driveway or block parking for the cabin to the south. Other things to note No Pets are allowed on the property No smoking/vaping allowed on property- this includes all indoor and outdoor spaces Our cabin is located in a natural, wooded setting, so it’s common to encounter insects and other small critters. Cell coverage can be spotty in this area. Our cabin uses well water, which is filtered and softened and safe to drink. While most guests don't mind it, the taste can sometimes differ from city water. If you are sensitive to taste, you may want to bring bottled drinking water. No parties or events policy: no disruptive parties and events, including open-invitation gatherings.
