The Top Level of Big Guppy is designed for relaxation and entertaining. The fully-equipped Kitchen makes meal preparation a breeze, while the spacious Living Area, complete with a gas fireplace, invites cozy gatherings. Enjoy meals as a family in the Dining Area, or take advantage of the Screened-In Porch and furnished Sun Deck to dine al fresco with beautiful views. The King Master Bedroom on this level, featuring a Private Bathroom, provides a serene retreat, while a convenient Half Bathroom is available with ease of access for the rest of the family during your stay. All of the stores are locally owned and operated and so close together that shopping can be an all-day event on foot! Scarborough Faire Shopping Center features unique shops and eateries, and also delicious restaurants like Fishbones Raw Bar & Restaurant and Roadside Bar & Grill! For more upscale dining there is the Blue Point Grill, the Paper Canoe, and the Sanderling Resort. Or opt to head south to the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island and have lunch on the way back at Johns Drive-In, a classic drive-in shack (open May-October) specializing in thick milkshakes, burgers, and fried fish sandwiches located at milepost 4.5. The Outer Banks is a remote location with natural surroundings. Therefore, some pests, including Palmetto Bugs and midges, are common to the area and may be found inside homes.
