Of the 3 buildings in the Playa Azul complex, building #1 is the only one located right on the beachfront. This beautiful apartment, is located on the 12th floor of Playa Azul, building #1, with an amazing panoramic view of the ocean, Throughout the apartment, floor-to-ceiling windows provide a cool ocean breeze and breathtaking views. Ceiling fans keep the apartment cool. The apartment is well furnished. Two air-conditioned bedrooms overlook the ocean, each with full private bath and walk-in closet. (One has a queen size bed and French doors opening onto the balcony; the other has 2 queen beds and a spectacular view of the ocean). A well equipped kitchen includes a 4 burner stove, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, coffee pot, a countertop oven and a microwave oven. The living room has a 60-inch flat screen Smart HD-TV with cable and wireless Internet connections. Amenities on the premises include: Private parking lot, a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts. There is full security at the front gate and lobby. Amigo Supermarket, Walgreens Pharmacy and a Banco Popular ATM are available within walking distance. Located in front of the Building #1, the Playa Azul Beach is not usually crowded and the sand is clean. Beach chairs and a small cooler are available in the wood box on the balcony for your use. If you prefer a beach with calmer waters, including amenities and lifeguards, the famous Balneario Monserate Luquillo Beach is only a few minutes drive from Playa Azul. A bit further, are the famous 'Kioskos of Luquillo' where you can delight in good local cuisine. Otherwise, you can drive to more upscale restaurants in the area. You can hike to beautiful waterfalls or zip-line in the rain forest, book a snorkel trip, kayak on the bioluminescent bay, scuba dive in Fajardo, rent jet skis at Luquillo Beach, go horseback riding or ride go carts at Hacienda Caraballi, go to the casino at a nearby resort hotel or take day-trips to Old San Juan, Ponce or the Camuy Caves. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY *** Guests should be aware that the Playa Azul Beach, in front of the building, has strong currents and ripe tides and while people frequently swim there, caution is strongly advised with different color flags on the beach. *** ALSO, we strongly recommend NOT to leave small children unattended on the condo balcony.
