Spacious Master Room in the heart of Inner Harbour

Stay in Victoria's vibrant Inner Harbour - steps away from the major sights! You'll have your own master room with private ensuite bathroom featuring his and hers sinks, bathtub, shower and bidet toilet. The very comfy queen bed is opposite a 43" 4K TV (or relax with the northern lights projector)! We stay in the other bedroom and you're welcome to cook in the kitchen, relax in the living area, chill on the balcony, or work in our office. The building also has a pool, hot tub and gym! The space You'll be staying with me (Mike) and my partner (Raffy) - we're friendly and have stayed in AirBNBs around the world and are excited to be able to start hosting visitors to our lovely city. We're doing AirBNB the way it was originally intended by renting out the extra room in our condo (and not adding on those pesky extra fees or asking you to clean at checkout, etc). This also means we are one of the few legal AirBNBs in Victoria, so you can book confidently knowing we have both city and provincial permits. Note that our home is not child-proofed so it's best suited for adults to stay. We have a bright 2 bed, 2 bath condo with floor to ceiling windows throughout, giving great views of downtown (our balcony looks out onto the historic Empress Hotel). You'll be staying in a master room (described in the main listing above) with a private ensuite bathroom. You have access to all the rest of our condo aside from our bedroom. Our home is your home away from home :) The main living area is open concept with the kitchen opening up to the dining table and living room. The stove is gas and we have everything you'll need to cook simple or elaborate meals. The kitchen island has stool seating so you can socialize while cooking too! The dining area has a stunning glass table with beautiful modern designer chairs. The living room has 2 chairs and a gorgeous & comfy couch that focuses in on a fireplace and 43" 4K TV. The main living area opens up to a deck with 4 chairs and 2 tables for you to enjoy the outdoors as well! We often can accommodate earlier check-in, but if we can't you can drop off your bags early. We can accommodate one guest vehicle for parking for free. Being so central, you can easily walk to: - Victoria Conference Center - The Inner Harbour - The Legislature - Royal BC Museum - Fisherman's Wharf - The Bay Center (Shopping Mall) - Chinatown - Market Square - The shops on the pedestrian streets The TVs are ROKU TVs so come with some free streaming options and we also have complimentary Prime Video. You are more than welcome to sign into your own personal streaming accounts (ie, Netflix, Disney+, etc). Please note that I (Mike) am allergic to fur/feathers/dander and my asthma is also triggered by them. As you are sharing space with me, we cannot host any animals for health reasons. The hot tub is set to 39.4 Celsius / 103 Fahrenheit all year - I mention this incase you are looking for a hotter hot tub than this when booking. The swimming pool is accessible, but not heated from October to March. AirBNB does not allow third party bookings, so you can only book if you are also staying here (either by yourself or with another person staying with you). If you're going to/from Swartz Bay ferry terminal, the bus for the ferry stops right in front of our building. If you're going to/from Belleville ferry terminal (US ferry for Washington), we are about a 10 minute walk away. If you're going to/from Victoria Inner Harbour airport, we are about a 10 minute walk from there. For the international airport (YYJ), you can take the bus in front of our place and then you will have one bus to transfer. Of course we are centrally located so you have access to taxis (including Uber) and lots of car rental options. During your stay We're happy to follow your lead. If you prefer to keep to yourself, your room is pretty well exactly how a hotel room would be set up and you could enjoy your private sanctuary there (you can walk straight to the room without walking through the rest of the common areas in our condo). If you like to interact, we're very friendly and well-traveled and would love to chat with you. Other things to note Bikes cannot be brought into elevators or condos as per condo bylaws.
