Welcome to our unique, arctic paradise on the shores of the Kemijoki River. Originally built in the 1940s for the mayor of Rovaniemi, the house has been our family home for three generations. The house has 180 sqm of living space, a park-like front yard and a terraced backyard with stunning views and access to the river. The space The home is personalized, timelessly elegantly decorated and beautifully patinated by time. The open main floor offers magnificent views in every direction. This floor has a kitchen, dining area, living room, TV corner, bedroom and toilet. Upstairs there are three cozy bedrooms, a living room with a balcony facing the river and another toilet. The basement floor has a third toilet, a dressing room, a bathroom and a sauna. In addition, the house has a glazed terrace where you can enjoy the winter magic and the fireplace. The house is located in a beautiful location on the shore of the Kemijoki River, in a quiet residential area just three kilometers from the center of Rovaniemi. The largest bedroom upstairs has a large double bed and a small sofa. The second bedroom has a double bed and a desk. The third bedroom has a single bed and a desk. The downstairs bedroom has a desk and a traditional wooden bed that can be spread out, suitable for a child's bed. In addition to the beds, there is a double air mattress that can be placed in the space you want. Guest access The entire house is at your disposal, except for the extra room in the basement, where we store our personal belongings during the stay.
