The space Welcome to the Coop at Birch Bay, a serene, waterfront cottage located in Blaine, WA. The modern design of both the indoor and outdoor spaces allows you to enjoy the breathtaking views of Birch Bay in comfort from anywhere on the property. The Space: • Only 1 mile from Birch Bay State Park and 3 miles from restaurants and shops • A light and bright fully-stocked kitchen with gas range, microwave, dishwasher and large refrigerator • A bedroom with queen bed and Smart TV downstairs • A full bathroom downstairs • Open concept living and dining with water views • Upstairs offers a large open area with queen bed, work station, and 3/4 bath • Large deck with outdoor dining, lounging, gas grill, and gas firepit • Private access to the beach via a short trail off the deck • Seating and wood-burning firepit at the water's edge ****** Important Note: The trail down to the beach is narrow with switchbacks. It may not be safe for young children or individuals with limited mobility. ****** Pet-friendly! We welcome you to bring up to 2 dogs. We provide dog blankets, dog towels, food/water bowl, toys, poop bags, and beds. Please note, provided dog beds are for smaller breeds. Also, the yard is not fully enclosed, but we do provide one dog tie out. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and deck. There is also private beach access with a private sitting area and wood burning firepit directly on the water for guest use. Other things to note 1) Parties and events are not allowed. A 4 person maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. 2) Out of respect for neighbors, we ask that noise levels be kept to a minimum after 10:00 pm. 3) The parking area will comfortably fit 2 vehicles. No parking is allowed in the street. 4) The trail down to the beach may not be ideal for young children or individuals with mobility issues. 5) Master queen bedroom is situated in a loft making blackout blinds not an option. Strongly suggest bringing your own eye mask for people sensitive to morning light.
