Description

A beautiful home framed by silver birch trees with views of Kenmare Bay and the imposing Carrauntoohill and Inveragh Peninsula. It is a haven for those seeking proximity to the heritage town of Kenmare with its brightly coloured shops and bars and exciting culinary scene, while staying close to nature and the many attractions along the Ring of Kerry and Beara Peninsula. Silver Trees is ideally situated for visits to the Killarney National Park, Gleninchaquin Waterfall and Derrynane. The space Silver Trees is a beautiful, luxuriously furnished home, with breath-taking views of the bay and mountains. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy. It is situated 8 mins drive or a 20 minute walk along the beautiful Beara Way, from the quaint bustling town of Kenmare with its variety of restaurants, shops and traditional pubs. Cycling, golf, fishing, walking, kayaking are all popular past times in Kenmare and can be partaken within minutes of Silver Trees. On entering the vaulted ceilinged hallway, one is immediately struck by the sense of space. There are three bedrooms- a large master bedroom with a super king bed, walk in wardrobe and large shower en-suite, a comfortable double bedroom with views of the bay and a generous sized bedroom with two single beds. The main bathroom is luxurious with its roll top bath and large shower. The living area is very spacious, with a kitchen/ dining room with breakfast bar, a large dining table seating eight, two armchairs by the open stone fire place which also gives a peek to the dramatic views of the bay and mountains. There is also a smart TV, which one can sign into, with home account details. The sitting room is comfortable, with two sofas nestling the stone fireplace and a wall taken up with glass sliding doors which offer a moving, ever changing view of the landscape. There is a large smart TV and a swivel armchair for the quiet read. There is a generous range of books which guests are very welcome to peruse. Guest access Guests are welcome to feel at home in the whole house. There are locked cupboards for the owners use, but there is ample storage and wardrobe space for guests. There is also a shelter fixed to the shed at the rear of the property, with ample storage for bikes, fishing equipment etc which guests are welcome to use. Other things to note The property key is kept in a key safe at the back door of the property. The host will contact the guest with the code before arrival.
