Wicklow Shepherds Hut (and sauna)

A wild glamping back-to-nature experience for romantic couples, families, nature savers and star gazers. Suitable for 2 adults + 2 kids or 3 adults only. Nestled at the edge of our tourist nature farm, by a field with beautiful oak woodland, stream and beautiful views. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Only 3 shepherds huts onsite. Book the Sauna for €30 extra. Bathroom is short stroll from the hut. Farm includes 2 mazes, 3 farm museums, farm animals, woodland, ponds and playgrounds. The space This shepherds hut is a one roomed cabin with two double beds. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids sharing. We can take 3 adults but will not accept 4 adults, as the space is too small. The Shepherds hut has electricity, a wood burning stove, hot and cold water, kitchenette including electric kettle, induction hob, fridge and picnic utensils. Picnic Table, BBQ and camp fire in fenced garden area. Glampers communal areas include 2 showers, 2 toilets, a communal kitchen with cooker, oven, microwave and fridge. The glampers communal Games room features pool table, fuse ball, board games, books, loads of sofas and hang out spaces, a drying area with dryer and drying racks and a washing machine. Sauna and cold plunge available to book 24hrs in advance for €30 for one hour for 2 adults. Guest access Guests have access to the open (public) farm during the day and access to the glampers kitchen and Summer games room. Each hut has its own cooking facilities but no bathroom. There is a shared bathroom with showers and toilets only for glampers a short stroll from the hut. Also fenced garden area set privately away from public farm area. You have your own secluded spot to enjoy the heavenly countryside setting. Sauna and cold plunge available to book 24hrs in advance (costs €30 for 2 adults for 1 hour). Other things to note The open farm is great for kids with two fun mazes, three farming museums, farm animals, kids playgrounds, woodland and wetlands, nature walks, a treasure hunt and fairy tree trail. You can help feed farm animals dependant on time of year. Doing the wicklow way - we can arrange pick ups if booked in advance. Coffee shop open in summer.
