The Gloster Gem Getaway

We are a newly listed home from home on Airbnb and so have availability for many dates. I know many of the best hotels are booked up far in advance for events and weddings, especially with our neighbours Gloster House, so if you are attending a wedding or event and would like your choice of date to stay with us, please have a look at The Gloster Gem Getaway. Myself and my dog Walter look forward to welcoming you. The space Our location is near the foot of the Slieve Bloom mountains with the location being the central gateway to all of Ireland. The house is a recently renovated 70s bungalow with large gardens and a nearby forest. We are situated in County Offaly in the very heart of the Irish midlands and halfway between the Georgian town of Birr and the medieval town of Roscrea. It is an area steeped in history and also has many leisure activities. Close by are the River Shannon, the Grand Canal, Birr Castle with its world-renowned telescope and gardens, and many other castles, ancient monastic and medieval sites. Our location is halfway between Dublin and the West Coast of Ireland. Guest access You will have full access to all areas of the house except my own private room/bathroom. This includes an open plan kitchen, living room, guest bedroom and bathroom . During your stay I will be available to offer help and advice/information either in person or by text.
