House near Goleen in spectacular West Cork

Wake up to the unobstructed, breath-taking views of the mountains surrounding Goleen, only 5 minutes drive from beautiful Blue Flag Barleycove Beach and 10 minutes away from the vibrant village of Crookhaven, with all of its famed bars and restaurants . House provides space, privacy and warmth to allow you to relax, explore with loved ones and be inspired by the natural beauty and stunning scenery. The space The house is split level and you enter though an entrance hall with a triangular feature window on the upper level. There is a large double height sitting room with a bay window, a cosy open fireplace, TV and three comfy sofas. With French doors to the south facing patio areas and double doors to the kitchen the room is perfect for great get togethers. Monard has a great open plan kitchen, dining and living space with wood burning stove and French doors to the patio. Just off the kitchen there is a useful pantry to store all food stuffs. The large master bedroom, with the super king size bed, is on the upper level with a roomy en-suite and a door with steps leading outside to the patio area. Waking up to the beautiful view of the mountains through the doorway will take your breath away. The lower level consists of three large additional bedrooms , (two with double beds, one with two singles), and a family bathroom with shower and bath. Outside there is a large south facing patio and an extensive open lawn, perfect for children to play on. The garden is fully fenced with gates to enclose it for safety . The houses sleeps 8 guests and a travel cot is available on request. A pet is welcome but this must be agreed upon with me prior to booking. Guest access You will have the entire house and it is the ideal for families, couples, anglers, hill walkers, birdwatchers, star gazers as it has low light pollution, artists, people with interests in all water sports or who just want to relax in lovely West Cork . Other things to note There is a great variety of books, board games and puzzles for your pleasure while staying in Monard. Please be aware that there are horses on the neighbouring farm and we would ask that as in all country places dogs must be supervised at all times. There is also some barbed wire on the fence around the edge of the garden and children must be kept safe from this. During the spring & summer months the property is only available to rent for a minimum stay of 7 days, with check-in on Saturday only. Out of season longer term and short term bookings will be considered but please contact me about this. Please also note that we require the lead guest to be a minimum of 24 years of age
