Recently constructed, this one-bedroom waterfront home sits on approximately an acre of land with 100 feet of oceanfront. Our secluded south-side east beach property features a private pool and comfortable, shaded seating area. The house offers utmost privacy, as there are no close neighbours and with only one residence on the property, you will not share it with anyone else, nor will you share the pool. We are situated on Cayman Brac, a 30-minute flight from Grand Cayman via Cayman Airways. The space The house has been meticulously designed exclusively for couples, making it an ideal setting for anniversaries, romantic getaways, or simply seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The property boasts a lush landscape featuring a diverse array of Caribbean plants and trees. Notably, we have over 50 palm trees, and our expansive organic garden is predominantly composed of fruit trees, including coconut, papaya, banana, cherry, dragon fruit, lime and others. Guests are welcome to harvest these delectable fruits during their peak season. The air-conditioned house is elegantly adorned with a modern Caribbean aesthetic, and each room offers an ocean view. The outdoor areas have been meticulously designed to maximize comfort, featuring a charming chat set with plush ottomans in both the shaded area and a screened room for the evenings. This design ensures that guests can enjoy the shade at any time of the day without the need to relocate furniture. The yard and pool provide a secluded retreat, ensuring privacy and exclusivity. It is highly unlikely that guests will encounter anyone on the beach during their entire stay, as the property is situated in a remote location with no immediate neighbours. While the foreshore boasts sandy shores but the water’s edge is characterized by iron shore, a solid expanse of rock. This combination of iron shore and waves makes swimming from the beach a challenging endeavour, prompting guests to explore the numerous shore dive locations surrounding the island for aquatic activities such as swimming and snorkelling. Cayman Brac is renowned for its exceptional safety, and most residents refrain from locking their homes or cars. During your stay, renting a car is essential, as restaurants and grocery stores are located approximately 10 to 20 minutes from the house. To rent a car on Cayman Brac, individuals must be between the ages of 25 and 75. To secure your booking, we kindly request that guests have prior positive Airbnb stays. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property. Other things to note Approximately five feral cats frequent our property and neighbouring properties. These cats are generally friendly, particularly when it is time for their feeding, which is provided in the garage. We encourage their presence as they effectively control the rodent population. The cats primarily reside across the street and are strictly prohibited from entering the house, pool areas, or sitting spots. Individuals with allergies can avoid the cats altogether. Here are some activities you can engage in during your stay: Biking: We have two bikes available for your use, allowing you to explore the island at your own pace. Hiking: Explore the Parrot Preserve or embark on the lighthouse trail to witness the Brown Booby nesting area. Cayman Brac offers numerous hiking opportunities. Caving: Don’t miss the chance to descend into at least one of the island’s magnificent cavernous natural wonders. Scuba Diving or Snorkelling: Take a charter or venture into the sea from one of the shore diving locations. Cayman Brac boasts over 50 dive sites, catering to both beginners and experienced divers. The house provides two sets of masks, snorkels, and fins for your use. Yoga: Enjoy the ocean views of Bliss Beach House while practicing your yoga routine. We have mats and blocks available in the laundry room. Alternatively, join a group at the outdoor yoga school located a 15-minute walk east of our house. Star Gazing: With minimal light pollution from nearby residents, you can enjoy the unobstructed beauty of the night sky.
