Guest Bedroom in Lavender Lodge, West Cork

Our guest bedroom 'Seomra Suaimhneas' (Tranquility Room) at Lavender Lodge is located near Bandon (10 min drive), West Cork, providing an ideal base for exploring Cork & Kerry. We provide a rural peaceful escape from the hustle & bustle of urban life. Immerse yourself in an authentic Irish countryside experience, with a great 'cead mile failte' & local bespoke recommendations for those hidden West Cork gems! We are 30 min drive from Cork Airport & 40 min drive from Ringaskiddy Ferry Terminal. The space Lavender Lodge is located in a rural area, you will need a car to access the property, as it is not serviced by any public transport. Bandon is the nearest town (10 min drive), with Cork city, Kinsale and Clonakilty a 30 min drive from our home. Guest access Our cosy guest bedroom has ground floor access, with a bathroom next door, which is for sole use of guests. A mini fridge is located in your room. We provide a self service continental breakfast for 1-2 nights of your stay, stocked with local, homemade produce. If you need additional supplies during your stay, they can be requested for an additional fee. A selection of snacks and bottled water are also provided. Guests also have sole access to an adjacent living room, with a pool table, and plenty of board games, books, puzzles and musical instruments (including a piano) to relax with. Our front gardens are fully accessible for guest use, where you can relax in our seating area 'The Birds Nest' or channel your inner child on our lavender swing under the trees! During your stay You will be sharing our home, but we respect our guests need for privacy. Guests have sole use to the front rooms located on the ground floor i.e. guest bedroom, bathroom and living room. If the weather is nice, we may have a BBQ and you are welcome to join us. I will be available to answer any queries you have, provide recommendations and information on day trips, local area, transport etc. Other things to note We offer a drop off and collection service for any of our guests who are attending weddings locally, or concerts & events in Cork City and locality. This requires a minimum 48hours notice and an additional charge/fee is required. Private guided day trip tours of surrounding areas, such as counties Cork and Kerry can also be organized via our hosts minibus hire company, Hurleys Minibus. Again there is an additional fee, and will require advanced notice. Please message us with your specific requirements/queries
