Warm &homely Log Cabin nestled on the family farm, entry is via the farmyard 🐮 Rural surroundings, close to town & within an hr of Dublin City centre Large living room with corner sofa, &an optional second sitting room with sofa bed This is a lived in home 360views of hedges & open farmland Lots of books & board games, Record Player, Projector &Google Home Speaker Please note we intentionally do not have a TV. No microwave or kettle either: stove top kettle just makes for a heartier cup The space This is a quirky little home, lots of DIY finds & pre-loved furniture given new love & life. It is a lived in home opened for guests :) A relaxing and peaceful space Please note: Extra living room with double sofa bed & baby cot is available for additional as a special request. ( additional cost for preparing this room in advance of your visit . Just ask & we can arrange ) Accommodating 2 adults 2 kids total, suiting a young families comfortably :) Please just message to enquire further . For convenience of renting this door will always be closed over otherwise . Guest access You will have the whole cabin to yourself & the paddocks for outdoor use. The farm is a working farm and so is completely off limits unless accompanied by host. More than happy to bring you for a walk up through the farmyard & fields during your stay, just message me to arrange :) Farmer will be using the surrounding fields so may be moving cattle or herding infront of the paddock & garden of the cabin. Other things to note The cabin is located on a working farm & this must be respected by all guests . For their own safety and the safety of our livestock. While staying at the cabin you have full use of the cabin & paddock, just not the farmyard or fields unless arranged with us ( we’re more than happy to show you around and walk dogs etc. in the fields together) Guests are not permitted access to the surrounding farmland or farmyard without prior arrangement or accompanied by the host ( I’m more than happy to join guests to view the farm or brings dogs for walks together etc ) The paddock that the cabin is in has fencing of 4 sides , 2 sides face onto the cattle’s field and these are electric strands. This is a live electric fence . Please bare this in mind if dogs are visiting, you can have them off leash at your own discretion and supervision . The farmyard may have machinery operating depending on the season , summer is silage season ( saving the grass to feed cattle through winter months ) this requires tractors & trailer . Winter has cattle in housing and are fed during the evenings by tractor. A trainline runs along the edge of the farm boundary, the far side of the field from the cabin .
