This cosy 3 bedroom chalet with wood burning stove, large garden, patio & parking is a 2 minute walk from the golf course and 5 mins walk from a quite beach. The countryside location is still less than 5 minutes drive from the bustling town of Bantry with its great restaurants, cafes & bars, making it the ideal location for both relaxation and for socialising fun. The colourful & quirky interior was decorated by the owner, a local artist whose original artworks also adorn the walls. The space This wooden chalet was built in the 1970's and renovated in stages over the past couple of years. Starting with a new kitchen in 2016 and finishing with the main bathroom being completely gutted and renovated in October 2021. It is comfortable and cosy with a wood burning stove as well as oil central heating. The wood shed is next to the main entrance to the property. There you'll find a clothes dryer, chopped wood and an outdoor chimnea. The chimnea is for use on the large patio only and not the small patio attached to the front of the house. There are outdoor bistro style table and chairs available for use on the patio areas. Guest access The property has 1 step up to the main entrance, inside the house is all on one level. It has its own large garden with lawns in front, to the side and behind the property. There is a small raised patio in front with 3 steps and a large patio area to the side with 1 step down to the parking area which has ample parking for up to 3 cars. Other things to note We are dog friendly, with a maximum of two dogs allowed at the property. Dogs must be house trained. Water and food bowls are provided as well as a towel to dry your dog and clean the paws. We also provide a blanket and ask that you put it on furniture/ bed if your dog is used to being on the furniture at home. This is to help keep dog hair to a minimum.
