The house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles (1 is en-suite & on the ground floor) & 1 Single. Bed linen, pillows & towels provided. A large sitting room with a wood burning stove, off this room is a reading nook where you can relax & have a cup of coffee & read a book. A large kitchen/dinning room also has a wood burning stove. The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling , extremely bright with two large velux windows and fully equipped with everything you need. From the kitchen window you have a view of the back of Knockomogh Hill and a complete view of the garden area to keep a safe eye on the kids. Full use of the washing machine, dryer & clothes line. Bathtub is in the upstairs family bathroom if you wanted a long soak in the evening to relax after a busy day enjoying the beautiful scenic walks, cycle routes, lake, mountain climbs etc around the West Cork area. Guests have full use of all the facilities in the house & garden. The garden is a suntrap from sun rise till evening. There is a kiddies area in the garden with a climbing area and slide, and the entire outside space has a timber picket fence and gate to keep the small ones safe Why not just sit in the patio area relax have a glass of wine and listen to the birds and the odd few moos from our cows!. You can also do whale & dolphin watching trips from Baltimore Harbour. 6 km from the busy market town of Skibbereen with lots of unique shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, historical walking trails, West Cork Art Centre, art galleries, Skibbereen Heritage Centre and of course a must visit is the famous Skibbereen Market which is on every Saturday morning whatever the weather. 1hr 30 mins from Cork City & Cork Airport. There is a wide range of recreational activities available throughout West Cork Festivals in Balimore during the year, The Fiddle Fair in May, Wooden Boat Festival, Annual O'Driscoll Clan gathering & Pirate Festival. If your attending a wedding in the nearby Inish Beg Estate and if we are available we can collect you from the wedding venue. We deliberately do not provide a workstation as we want guests to relax and forget about work, e-mails and missed work calls while on vacation. if you need a hot desk for a day pop into Ludgate Hub in Skibbereen. Meet our friendly cattle, calves, hens, and playful dogs — and if you’d like, you’re very welcome to join in with the daily farm jobs.
