At the end of Bocagrande is El Laguito, which starts at the famous Hotel Caribe and ends on a piece of land besides the bay known as Castillogrande, which holds the Santa Cruz fort, today in ruins. Just to the side of the bay, people can take a path that goes along the beach and which is often used for walks.
