Sea Bear Lodge is perched on a rocky outcrop 100 meters over the Atlantic Ocean. With breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and surrounding hills where the sea and sky is ever changing. You can nest here in your cosy lodge and let nature provide a show of outstanding beauty. Nearby we have, kayaking, birdwatching, award winning restaurants, island trips, authentic live music pubs, and stunning walks all on your door step! Located between the market town Skibbereen and coastal Baltimore. The space When you arrive, at Seabear Lodge you will facing towards the ocean, divine views all around of the expansive sea to the South and hills to the North. Regular sightings of whales can be seen below, plus an incredible array of birds, and occasional visits from a pair of stags and deer on the hills. Guest access You have your own independent entrance and self contained space, with no shared area, to ensure total privacy. The host is nearby if needed for advice, recommendations or any other issue. You have ample parking and your own deck with glorious ocean and sunset views. Other things to note In our love and value for the planet, and in our commitments to being as carbon neutral as is possible, the Lodge is solar and wind powered. It’s a passive build with underfloor heating. This provides a sustainably built beautiful space to spend time in with a consistent temperature. We have our own deep well so you have pristine and delicious water to drink. A complimentary food pack will be provided with essentials plus a bottle of wine! Heat and electricity included.
