Located within easy reach of popular wedding venues, we are just 4km (about a 5-minute drive) from Garryvoe, home to a four-star hotel. The Lighthouse Bar serves food seven days a week and is open year-round, except on Christmas Day. Table bookings may be necessary at weekends. We are also close to the renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School and Gardens, and Stephen Pearce Pottery in Shanagarry, just 6km from our home. Midleton and Youghal are both 16km away, offering supermarkets, a cinema, shops, and a wide choice of restaurants. Ballycotton, just 10km from the house, is home to the popular Sea Church restaurant and music venue. While you're there, enjoy the scenic cliff walk or take a boat trip to Ballycotton Island. We’re located on the coast road to Knockadoon, where you’ll find another beautiful cliff walk with views of Cable Island. Don’t miss The Lobster Pot food van nearby — great for burgers, chips, and more. Cork City is 46km away (about a 40-minute drive). Alternatively, you can leave your car in Midleton and take the train to the city. The nearest bus stop to our house is in Garryvoe. Guest access The suite is in our much loved home in the peaceful country side in East Cork. Beautiful view of Ballycotton bay and lighthouse. Free Wi-Fi , double bedroom with electric blanket, hairdryer and iron. Electric shower and toilet facilities. Sitting room with tea/coffee making facilities , toaster, fridge, airfryer and microwave if you need to cook. Light breakfast of cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice, brown bread provided with self preparation and self service. Access to outdoor patio area for smoking or relaxing.
