This sunny and spacious 2 bedroom lakefront home has 50' of waterfront to enjoy in the summer and close proximity to Okemo Mountain (8 minutes) to ski in the winter. This home is perfect for families looking for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. We have been coming to Lake Rescue and Okemo for over ten years and are thrilled to be able to share it with you. Comcast 50 Mbps Wifi Included The space Sunny and spacious, this 2 bedroom Lake Rescue home is perfect for a couple or a family looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to stay. We provide all you will need to enjoy your time on the lake. Note that the stairs down to the lake are fairly steep, so we do not recommend this home for those who have difficulty navigating steep stairs to waterfront. In winter, not really a factor unless one is looking to ice fish or cross country ski on the lake. The kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs (pots, pans, utensils, glasses, dinnerware, etc.) and has a dining table that seats 6. "Foodies" have commented how much they appreciate the wide array of pots, pans, knives and cooking amenities. Basically, full kitchen. The master bedroom has a comfortable king bed with new headboard and adjacent laundry and full bath. The bathroom includes a hair dryer. The living room has a cozy loveseat and chair and one of the best views on the lake. You may not need it with all there is to do, but it does have a brand new 55" HD TV with access to Streaming Apps Roku (No Cable Channels). Kids/Guest room has two twin beds. This room sleeps 2. The large wooden porch overlooks the lake and features 2 Adirondack chairs and a Weber grill. There is a tempered glass table with 6 chairs. (Generally not usable in Winter Months). There is a Wood Stove Fireplace in the Kitchen Area, but it is NOT IN SERVICE currently. The chimney needs to have some service items performed before it can be used safely. The house is professionally cleaned between each set of guests. One set of sheets and towels per guest included per stay. Washer and dryer on premise. Guest access Full private house with a small set of stairs leads up to main entrance door. A Key Box with code is mounted on house to the right of the main entrance door. Driveway is up a small hill with flat parking area suitable for 2 -3 cars. Other things to note Check out time is firmly at 11 am unless otherwise arranged. Cleanliness is of critical importance to us and we need sufficient time to turn over the house before the next guests check in. This is particularly important on the weekend. Thank you for understanding. Absolutely NO smoking of any kind allowed. Sheets and Towels included. We are environmentally concerned - as is Vermont law - and recycling is required (by law). Please plan on separating your trash and recycling. Trash needs to be bagged and tied and placed in the trash bin in the shed with the tight fitting lid. Recycling should be rinsed and placed in the blue bins in the shed. Recycling includes: plastic with any number on it, all metal, paper, newspaper, cardboard (not pizza boxes), glass and returnable cans and bottles. Please rinse all cans/glasses, jars before putting in recycling bin. Plastic bags, paper towels, and any cardboard that is greasy, like pizza boxes, are not recyclable in Vermont. Pizza boxes should be folded and put in a trash bag. Please remove all perishables when you leave (milk, bread, etc.). This is quiet family spot and not suitable for more than the agreed upon number of guests.
