Welcome to Borgo San Pecoraio, a resort at the coast of Tuscany within driving distance of the sandy beaches. The estate has two swimming pools, a soccer field and a tennis court. Its large external spaces are perfectly suitable for a relaxed stay. Each apartment has a private outside space with its own table, chairs and umbrella. The resort restaurant is open each day of the week and it's possible to order our delicious pizza's. The space This Airbnb is a 1-bedroom apartment. The apartment consists of a living room/kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, bidet, and sink. Guests of this Airbnb have a private terrace equipped with a dining table, chairs and umbrella. Guest access The main pool is open 12 hours a day and has a magnificent view of the valley and the ocean. On a bright day you will be able to see the Tuscan island of Elba and the french island Corsica. Guests of this Airbnb have a private umbrella and (at least) two sun beds in the solarium of the pool. We named the pool Niagara and it's huge: 800 m2 with a depth from 1 to 3 meters. For the little ones we have the children's pool, with a reduced depth. Directly at the pool you will find a little bar where you can enjoy a coffee, drink or snack. We also serve refreshing cocktails. Usually our guests after using the pool have lunch or dinner in our restaurant, a short walk. The restaurant has a large panoramic terrace and a second pool. There is a soccer field directly beside the restaurant where the kids of the resort come together to play some intense international matches. Furthermore during the day you can use our tennis court (hardcourt) and volleyball field, perfect for recreational activities or training sessions. In our restaurant you can savor delicious Tuscan cooking while enjoying the views of our pool and the charming Tuscan countryside. Our menu is full of hearty and tasty options made from fresh ingredients picked right from our Borgo's vegetable garden. Whether you’re in the mood for meat, fish, or a vegetarian meal, we’ve got something for everyone. It’s a cozy and relaxed place where you can unwind and enjoy some good food in peace. Other things to note Borgo San Pecoraio is at the center of various leisure, tourist and cultural itineraries. We are located in the beautiful hills above the northern Tuscan coast, a land rich in history, nature and culture; in a natural setting of rare beauty, ancient trees, olive groves and rows of vines extending from the hills to infinity with their sweet and poetic profile. In the surroundings you can make the following activities and day trips: * Cities/Town to visit - 28 km Bolgheri (Famous for its wines) - 33 km Volterra (Etruscan treasures) - 47 km Livorno - 61 km Pisa - 86 km Lucca We recommend a day-trip combining Pisa and Lucca, both worthwhile and doable in half a day. We can pre-book tickets for the Tower of Pisa and a (guided) walk over the famous town walls of Lucca, in order to have the perfect organized day-trip. If you want to visit Florence it's wise to drive up the Autostrada A1 until the exit 'Villa Costanza'. You can park there safely and easily, and take the 'Tramvia' train. That's a small train that brings you quickly in the town centre. You avoid traffic and expensive parking. On these hills there are several small, unknown towns.
