HARWAY’S HAVEN - year round sanctuary!

Our Air Bnb is a two bedroom apartment located over our separate 2nd garage. It offers a quiet place to simply relax and enjoy one of the nicest beaches in the area or use it as a starting base camp from which to explore the three Atlantic provinces. The beach is lovely and the water here boasts the warmest waters north of the Carolinas. A great place to search for sea glass, swim or play on or in the water. The rocks provide a great place to explore or fish - check seasons and parameters The space There is a bar b que on ground level outside at your apartment area. There is a stand up paddle board, small kayak and child’s saucer swing and child’s ninja warrior play line for your children to enjoy (use at your own risk and supervise children please). Games for use outdoors and indoors are available for your enjoyment. There are beach chairs, a sun shelter and umbrella for you to take to the beach. Guest access We have a lovely screened in gazebo that you can use during your stay that overlooks the ocean....... it’s a great place for a coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. There is a crib game and cards down there. You are welcome to use any area of the property except our fenced in area off our front. Other things to note We have just purchased a roll-a-way single bed for a 3rd person if required. There is a $25/night fee for a 5th guest over 2 years old. We currently do not have a crib for younger children but they are welcome if you are able to bring your own portable crib for sleeping. There is room in the master bedroom for this. We can provide wall plug covers and baby gates if required and also have toddler rails that can be added to the twin beds if required. Chickens are a new addition! They too enjoy a separate house and fenced area on the property and are sometimes free ranging. No rooster to waken you!! If you have children, we are more than willing to introduce them to our girls and show them how they are cared for and how we feed them and offer them treats. They are fun and children seem to enjoy them. There is no laundry in the apartment. you can use the coin wash at Cape Tormentine Beach Campground which is 1.5km down road during their open season mid May until Thanksgiving but at other times Amherst NS (40 min away) or Moncton (1 hr) have coin laundries.
