( hotel size frig). Our quite street is only 2 blocks from restaurants, shops , hospital & entertainment. Enjoy town events, Stage Coach rides, & historical sites without a car. A 10 minute drive to Apple Hill, Wineries & deep forest Desolation Wilderness, hike or ski The space Totally private & separate studio apartment in a beautiful secluded downtown setting offers a fully equipped small kitchen(hotel size frig), tub with shower, dining table, small work desk, ample clothes and luggage storage. My goal is to accommodate guests with a clean comfortable 'home' which is totally private with tasteful relaxing interior space, a great queen bed all within walking distance to downtown . A home base to enjoy historic downtown shops & eateries, Apple Hill, wineries, skiing, river rafting and Desolation Wilderness. If you are traveling with friends, I have an additional accommodations ( Secret Garden, The Carriage House and The Wild Plum) at the same location . all private & secluded Guest access Below are directions. The address is 3050 Lewis BUT you must actually pass the residence to find your spot. While the main house is ' 3050 B' Your stay is Dogwood, a separate residence with its own entrance Directions to The Dogwood Cottage When you are on Lewis make sure you drive AROUND THE LEFT HAND sharp TURN CORNER and then you will see a short post on the right with the #3035 (Lewis st) park along the oleanders on the right side of the street. On the other side of the street (left hand side) there is an ivy covered wall with 4 steps at the end of the ivy covered wall when you go up the 4 steps (three bird houses are at the top of the steps) The path to your place is the walkway ALONG THE FRONT of the building. You will walk a short distance, turn right and up a few tiled steps to your light blue door (see photo in listing) Your door will be open for you with the key on the table inside. Please text when you close and again when you arrive. I'd like to know that you are "home" safe and sound.
