A beautifully converted flint-and-brick barn for two in the heart of Cley-next-the-Sea. Downstairs is a bright, open-plan living and kitchen space with exposed beams, together with a compact shower room. The loft stairs lead to a cosy king-size loft bedroom. The Barn has its own private entrance and is within easy walking distance of Cley’s shops, pubs, coastal paths, nature reserve and beach. Guest access Guests have their own private front door access to the Barn. There is no off-road parking space at the front of the house for Guests - although you are welcome to offload luggage there if space - there is free parking on the road outside or at the free village hall car park minutes away. Other things to note Two-night minimum stay. Check-in is after 4pm. Checkout is by 10am. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: The loft bedroom has restricted head height in places, as shown clearly in the photographs. It is accessed by loft stairs that may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or anyone who struggles with stairs. Because of the open loft staircase, the Barn is not suitable for young infants or toddlers. Please do not book the Barn if either of these points may affect your stay. You may wish to consider our other Airbnb, The Stables, instead. In the bedroom, a clearly labelled, purpose-made shutter is provided for the arrow slit window behind the bed, offering privacy and blocking early-morning light. A further blind is built into the Velux bedroom window - which opens fully for ventilation. The Barn does not have a garden, patio or private outdoor seating area. PLEASE do not book the property thinking there is a garden. However, the beautiful expansive Cley Nature Reserve and the coast are all within easy walking distance, with Cley Beach a little farther beyond the reserve. TV: The television is equipped with Apple TV, providing access to BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Guests can stream live television and catch-up programmes through the relevant apps. You will need your own login details for subscription services such as Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. We are very happy to help if you are unfamiliar with Apple TV or the apps. TOWELS: We provide one bath towel per guest. Beach towels are not provided. HEATING: The ground floor has underfloor heating, set to 19.5°C by default. The loft bedroom has a thermostatically controlled radiator that guests may adjust as needed. PETS: Sorry, pets are not permitted. FOOD & SUPPLIES: Essential supplies are available from the excellent deli in Cley. There is also a Spar supermarket in the neighbouring village of Blakeney, usually open until 10pm. Larger supermarkets can be found in Wells-next-the-Sea, Holt and Sheringham, and most major supermarkets deliver to Cley. Tea and ground coffee are provided. TRANSPORT: Taxi services operate from Holt and Sheringham. The Coasthopper bus timetable is available on the Sanders Coaches website. The nearest railway station is Sheringham.
