Welcome to this perfectly located home base for your trip. A simple and clean space for travellers, work, or temporary place to stay. Access many Ottawa attractions from this central location. 5 min walk away from Bank St, another 10-15 min to Elgin St. Parliament and Sparks St is only 20 min walk. Rideau Canal, Rideau centre, Lansdowne are 20-30 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants and stores in Chinatown and Little Italy within walking distance. The space The room is on the second floor. There is one set of stairs to reach the front door and an additional set of stairs leading to the second floor. Simply furnished room with the essentials. The room has a double-sized bed, desk, and clothing rack. There is a private bathroom next to the room private to you. Towels are included and body wash, shampoo, conditioner are available. You have access to a full kitchen with simple cooking equipment. Other things to note: Central AC/Heating, Self-Check In Guest access Guests have access to only the room, private bathroom, and kitchen. The place is shared with the host and other guests. The room is on the second floor of a renovated 100 year old home. There are other suites in the three story home occupied by other tenants, guests, and the host. Soundproofing has been done between suites and floors, however, you can still hear noise from the hallway through the door and footsteps from above. Other things to note PARKING: Street parking is free, parking restrictions apply according to signage - parking available near the house is 1-hr limit from 7am - 7pm, after that 7pm no time limit - Bank St/Kent St has paid street parking during the day and restrictions during rush-hour - Lyon St has a no stopping/no parking restriction between 3:30-5:30 pm on weekdays only (no restrictions on weekends) Paid-parking on premises available for $15 per day - subject to availability TRANSPORTATION: O-Train - Lyon St station is 10-15 min walking distance Buses - many bus options available nearby on Gladstone and Bank St Registration Details STR-843-322
