Welcome to Cottage Arctica, a cozy guest cabin just 8 minutes from Rovaniemi city center. The cabin features a traditional wood-fired sauna — a detail many of our guests especially appreciate. Ideal for couples or small families, the cabin comfortably accommodates 3-4 guests and offers a calm Arctic escape with easy access to Rovaniemi’s main attractions. The space The cabin is kept warm year-round by an efficient air-source heat pump, which also provides air conditioning in summer. A fireplace adds to the cozy atmosphere. Sleeping arrangements: - 160 cm double bed - 120 cm sofa bed The compact kitchen is well-equipped for preparing simple meals and includes: - Portable induction cooktop, microwave - Small refrigerator - Kettle, coffee maker, and toaster (Please note: There is no oven or dishwasher) Modern comforts include: - Free high-speed Wi-Fi - TV - Fresh linens and towels - Baby essentials: crib, high chair, potty - Room-darkening curtains - Self-check-in via lockbox Guest access Guests will have full and private access to the entire guest cabin. This includes your own private entrance, the outdoor deck, and a traditional wood-fired sauna for an authentic Lapland experience. Free parking is available next to the cabin. The guest cabin is located in the yard of our family home. While the main yard is a shared space, your cabin and deck area are private. Children are welcome to enjoy the shared amenities: - Winter: Sleds and a snow hill. - Summer: A trampoline. Other things to note Firewood: We provide enough firewood for you to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and sauna right from the moment you arrive. - 1–3 nights: 1 set of firewood - 4–6 nights: 2 sets of firewood - 7+ nights: 3 sets of firewood - If you need extra firewood, it is available for €10 per log rack.
