Relax around the fire or play yard games at our cozy cottage after enjoying everything Treasure Lake has to offer including Golf, Hiking, Swimming, Fishing and More! The space "Mulligan Retreat" is the perfect place for a family vacation, golf trip or getaway for a special occasion. Enjoy warm evenings and starry nights by the fire in the large, flat, tree-lined back yard. Perfect for the kids to run around and play or for the adults to unwind while playing, (provided!) yard games and enjoying a beverage! We provide Cornhole, Bocce Ball and Kan Jam. We also provide roasting sticks for marshmallows and hot dogs. Prepare your favorite meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, or dine-in/order-out from plenty of nearby restaurants, including Treasure Lake’s own Duffer’s Tavern. Our kitchen includes plates, glasses, utensils, pots/pans, etc., programmable coffee maker (coffee included!), toaster, microwave, etc. We include fresh linens on each bed and fresh bath towels. A laundry room with washer and dryer is included in case you need to do any laundry. Some basic toiletries are provided for you to begin your stay (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods); you may need to bring extra depending on the length of your stay. Baby gate, highchair, and pack-n-play are available making this a place for the entire family! During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy all that Treasure Lake has to offer. There is something for everyone in your group to enjoy: Fishing - catch & release (A Pennsylvania fishing license is required. These can be purchased at the Treasure Lake Marina), kayaking, swimming, golfing, bike riding, hiking & relaxing at New Providence Beach during the summer months. There are also playgrounds, tennis courts and pickleball courts as well. Treasure Lake has three bodies of water to enjoy. Treasure Lake, Bimini Lake and Little Flipper Lake. For anyone under 12 or over 60 years of age, Little Flipper Lake is a great place to fish. Nature trails and picnic tables are available for all to enjoy, as well as the Little Flipper Pavilion. The fall season provides some of the most spectacular fall foliage scenery in the Northeast! There are many winter-season activities too! Sled riding, ice fishing, cross-country skiing or simply cozying by the fireplace in the vaulted-ceiling living room and streaming your favorite shows on the 55” flat screen smart TV. There is a firewood stand close by, outside of Treasure Lake’s front gate. While you're here, check out the Treasure Lake Marina Store adjacent to the boat docks and across the dam from the Lakeview Lodge/community pool. The store is just a short drive from the cottage. They offer a variety of boating and fishing supplies, as well as Pennsylvania State fishing licenses, bait, ice, various souvenir items, soft drinks, gas, snacks, ice cream, and non-motorized boat rentals. The Marina store also has a large deck with picnic tables overlooking the water for relaxing and picnicking. The community pool (Lakeview Lodge Pool) within Treasure Lake is open Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend, and only available to guests Monday through Thursday. (Excluding holidays) We provide 8 pool guest passes. A guest pass is not required for children under 2. You may enjoy the New Providence Beach every day with your pool/beach guest passes! **PASSES MUST BE RETURNED TO THE HOUSE. FEE FOR LOST PASSES IS $50 PER PASS.** Learn more about nightlife, children’s activities, events, and all the amenities that Treasure Lake has to offer by exploring the Treasure Lake’s website. Treasure Lake is conveniently close to shopping, restaurants, breweries, and entertainment (including Laser Tag and Indoor/Outdoor Mini Golf at Dr. Doolittles Roadside Cafe in Dubois). Feeling even more adventurous? Take a day trip from the cottage! Mulligan Retreat cottage is 18 miles away from Parker Dam State Park, 40 miles away from Cook Forest State Park, 60 miles from Penn State University, 65 miles from Allegheny National Forest and 65 miles from Kinzua Bridge State Park. The highly rated Straub Brewery Visitor Center and Taproom is about a 40 minute drive away. Check out their website for more information and special events. Elk Country is also about a 45 minute drive away. Visit the visitor center and explore the short, but scenic walking paths. While there, enjoy a wagon ride around the area and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. Make sure to check out Winslow Hill for more breathtaking views and an even better chance to see the elk! Bilger's Rocks is about a 30 minute drive away. It's a natural area in Clearfield County featuring sandstone formations and recreational areas: caves, cliffs and passageways. Punxsutawney is about a 40 minute drive away. Punxsutawney is known for its annual Groundhog Day celebration every February! **PLEASE NOTE: Maximum 10 guests at all times. All names on the guest list must be provided to gain access to the property as this is a semi-private gated community. We reserve the right to request a copy of ID. Minimum age for person renting is 25.** *No Parties *No Smoking **We do not allow pets - Unauthorized pets result in a $500 fine for additional cleaning** *Another note: The living room fireplace is remote-controlled and uses natural gas, the pilot light is always on. This small flame is designed to stay lit all the time. Please do not leave the fireplace on overnight. Guest access You have access to the entire property! Other things to note We have one security camera on the property. It’s located on the exterior post of the carport facing the driveway/front yard/road. It’s the only camera on our property, and we wanted to disclose this fact. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. **We do not allow pets - Unauthorized pets result in a $500 fine for additional cleaning** We currently do not provide Kayaks, Paddleboards, Canoes, etc. We are looking to offer these amenities in the near future! If interested, non-motorized rentals are available at the Treasure Lake Marina Store. You cannot bring your own as it’s Treasure Lake’s rule that all motorized boats and non-motorized be registered and have a Treasure Lake Decal from the Treasure Lake Property Owners Association.
