Guest access -Entire house including decks and private access to the lake is available to guests. -The pathway to the lake is steep and should be accessed safely and slowly. Please refrain from using them during hazardous weather conditions such as high winds, snow,sleet, ice etc. Other things to note -4 Kayaks and a Canoe are available for guest use. Life jackets are provided in the gear box near the lake. Please make sure everyone is equipped before accessing the water. Fishing poles are provided as well. - Crab nets are provided near the dock area. -We are located off the southern part of the Patuxent where you are conveniently close to many active marinas, the Battle Creek Sand bar, multiple crab houses, historic parks, Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Bay. -You will be only 20 mins from California, MD where you will find every store imaginable- from Walmart, Target to Harris Teeter, Giant, and multiple restaurants to cater to a variety of cuisines. - Since the house is located in a natural habitat and surrounded by trees and water, it is very common to see lunar moths, lantern flys, stink bugs and various insects around the property. Please do them no harm and gently place them outside if they do get inside the house.
