The apartment is located in the neighborhood of Palermo Viejo, a very accessible area, considered at the present the heart of the city’s nightlife and home for avant-garde design, fashion and arts. Palermo Viejo - also known as Palermo Soho, due to its similarities with the homonym neighborhood of New York City - a sprawling area with lots of shops and a vibrating cultural life. The neighborhood also hosts book stores, music stores and antiques, and decoration shops. A truly bohemian spirit blends with history in this neighborhood that once had Jorge Luis Borges as one of its most illustrious inhabitants. Palermo is also well known for its Arts Fair which shows the work of artist and artisans, a must for all visitors who wish to enjoy the artsy side of Buenos Aires. An important fact for Tango lovers is that my apartment is very near most famous traditional milongas: Salon Canning, La Viruta, Villa Malcolm and has a comfortable location to get to other milongas as well. Palermo Viejo is a perfect starting point and equidistant from the most interesting places and activities Buenos Aires offers to curious travelers. My main aim is to ensure that my guests enjoy their stay in the city and at home.
