The Cabin

Wake up amongst the trees, curl up by the fireplace, and experience the serenity that nature provides. The cabin has a rustic atmosphere with a fully renovated kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 2 brand new baths. Enjoy watching wildlife from the primary bedroom seating nook. Though secluded on 12 acres of classified forest, the cabin is only 15 min from Memorial Stadium and Indiana University campus. Go Hoosiers! The space Enjoy the brand new kitchen, rustic butcher block countertops including an island with two barstools. The dining area features a vaulted ceiling making it feel spacious for seating 6. The living room is cozy next to the electric fireplace. You'll find games on the bookshelf and a record player to enjoy your favorite tunes. The smart tv can rotate be to viewed in both the living and dining room. One bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs. Each bedroom has its own MrCool mini splits to allow guests to control their own climate during the stay. The Deer bath is on the first level next to bedroom 1. It features a tub shower combination with beautiful tile work. The Birch tree bath is on the 2nd floor is dual access from both the hallway and the 3rd bedroom. Bedroom 3 features a seating nook, a quiet location to take in the wildlife. Grab the binoculars in the morning hours and you will be sure to see white tail deer. The property to is yours to explore: the creek hike wandering along the ravine or follow flags up the hillside for spectacular sunsets and views of the countryside. The firepit is a great place to warm up on a cold evening. Wood is provided during your stay. We have an on-demand water heater that can be adjusted. The shower knobs just need tiny adjustments once you achieve desired water temp. If you have any issues , don’t hesitate to message us !! Guest access Everything ! Including 13 wooded acres to surround yourself and nature and hear nothing but just that! No cars. No people. Just wildlife and the silence of the forest. Other things to note You will feel secluded in the forest yet only 15 minutes to campus ! 5-7 minutes to grocery and The Hoosier Bar n Grille. Uber eats. Door dash. Uber all easily accessible to the cabin. As we are in a cabin, with limited space , we have an on-demand water heater. It’s very sensitive to multiple water sources using hot water simultaneously.
