It is a shipping container tiny home designed with nature in mind with large windows, a garage door that opens to the patio, and colors and materials that bring the outdoors in. You will feel right at home in this cozy and quaint space. The Space The Hillside Retreat is a 360 SF shipping container tiny home designed for 1-2 people. It is conveniently located off of OH-664 which connects you to downtown Logan, Hocking Hills State Park, and Old Man’s Cave. This place is ideal for anyone looking for a getaway into nature while also having an unforgettable space to relax in. Living/Dining Area: The living and dining are open to each other as well as the kitchen. This area features a 9’ garage door that can open to the outdoor patio. The living also features a comfortable couch, pillows and blankets, a game basket, coffee table, and full size mirror. You also won’t miss the fun accent wall perfect for capturing your photo memories. The dining area features a dining table and chairs for two, gas fireplace, TV, and Polaroid camera to capture your memories. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs and features a large picture window that brings in an abundance of natural light. It also has a refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, kitchen utensils, toaster oven, dishware, cooking basics (oil, cooking spray, salt, pepper, other seasonings), teapot, and coffee station. Bedroom: This cozy bedroom will make it hard to get out of bed in the morning. It features a queen size bed, ample pillows, bedside table with a lamp and charging station, mirror, TV, fan with remote, and a large picture window with views to the woods. Bathroom: This luxurious bathroom brings in elements of the outdoors with the pebble stone flooring, blue shower tile, and wood vanity. It features a walk in shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers, toiletries, hair dryer, hooks, and a large mirror. Outdoor living space: Enjoy the outdoors with our ample outdoor living space. It features a hot tub with towels, gas grill, outdoor seating area, swinging chairs, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, string lights, and some outdoor games including giant Jenga and cornhole. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house except for a supply cabinet in the bathroom and a mechanical room on the exterior side. All platforms are @thehillsideretreat We have Starlink Wi-Fi installed at the home and it is generally reliable. However, we are in a very rural area and the internet connection could be interrupted at times, so please be prepared for times where the Wi-Fi signal may not be the strongest. *If you are booking in the winter months, please be aware that we have a steep driveway. Although it is asphalt and is suitable for most vehicles at most times of the year, inclement weather in the winter could make it difficult to drive up the driveway. We highly recommend 4WD/AWD during these times. We will not be responsible for any accident or your vehicle getting stuck. You will have to have it towed at your own expense. Other things to note We have the right to terminate your stay if we find out that there are more than the number of guests permitted. No refund will be issued. We will only rent to people 21 or older. A copy of your government issued ID is required. No smoking/vaping of any kind within 25 ft of the house. The house is equipped with an exterior Ring camera to monitor the driveway in an effort to keep the property safe and secure. This camera is motion sensitive and is operational 24/7/365. The host has access to the camera and video recordings at all times via the device app. The guest agrees to pay $500 plus any additional cleaning or damage charges if any of these rules are broken.
