The space About The Space: When you arrive, you’ll find plenty of off-street parking in the spacious driveway. Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by the inviting living room, featuring a sectional sofa and a smart TV – perfect for lounging or catching up on your favorite shows. Behind the sofa, there’s a cozy bar area where your friends can sit and snack while watching the game. This versatile space also doubles as a convenient spot to set up your work-from-home station, offering a comfortable and functional area for remote work during your stay. Inside this newly renovated gem, you’ll find an inviting bedroom equipped with a TV and wall-mounted electric heater to keep you cozy, as well as an electric heater mounted in the spa like bathroom for extra comfort. A variety of books and games are available in the living room hutch to keep everyone entertained. The full kitchen has everything you need for home-cooked meals. Beautifully renovated, this kitchen is a true highlight. It boasts a retro-style full-size fridge, stovetop and oven, microwave, and a Keurig machine stocked with coffee. The spice rack and fully stocked kitchen make it easy to whip up delicious meals during your stay. The bedroom is a cozy retreat. Featuring a luxurious queen-sized bed, smart TV and electric heaters to keep you warm on chilly nights. It has a private back door out to the stunning deck and patio space, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or stargazing at night. The bathroom is a gem – beautifully updated with a walk-in tile shower that feels like a spa experience. Thoughtful touches like Q-tips, cotton balls, and a washer/dryer combo add to the convenience of your stay. Finally, step out onto the back deck, the crown jewel of the Bear Den. This is where the magic truly happens. Relax in the hot tub as you take in the fresh pine-scented air or gather on the patio furniture with a cup of coffee or hot cocoa. Listen to the birds chirping, watch the deer wander by, and immerse yourself in the peaceful beauty of Indian Hills. (Hot tub - The hot tub is serviced every Wednesday, so someone may stop by during your stay, but they will NOT enter the home.) Your perfect mountain retreat awaits! Wintertime in Colorado brings many opportunities for play and adventure, as well as seasonal hazards that require consideration. AWD or 4WD capable vehicles are required from November - April for all guests. Please plan your travel accordingly. Nestled in Indian Hills along the Denver front range, this location is ideally situated for exploring both the majestic mountains and the rolling plains. Legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater is just a short 20-minute drive away, while I-70, only 20 minutes from the cabin’s front door, serves as your gateway to the breathtaking Colorado Rockies. Surrounded by three serene open space parks—Mount Falcon, Pence, and Corwina—the Bear's Den puts nature right at your doorstep. A quick 15-minute drive brings you to the charming Historic Downtown Evergreen, where you’ll find an array of shops, restaurants, and the picturesque Evergreen Lake, perfect for paddleboarding, fishing, or a leisurely stroll along its scenic shoreline. In just 40 minutes, you can find yourself in Downtown Denver, enjoying a ball game at Coors Field or exploring the endless entertainment options of the Mile High City. For a bit of excitement, the gambling towns of Central City and Black Hawk, as well as world-class skiing destinations, are less than an hour’s drive away. Whether you’re here to recharge, explore, or immerse yourself in local attractions, The Bear's Den is the perfect place to call home during your stay. Guest access Guest have access to the entire cabin during their stay. Other things to note • This home is available for stays of 29 or more nights. • *FIRE SAFETY* - The foothills are a fragile area with high wildfire risk. For safety reasons and in adherence to strict fire restrictions, outdoor fires are prohibited to prevent the risk of wildfires and protect our natural landscapes. • Though this is a residential area, bears, mountain lions, and other wildlife live in the area. Please close the trash bins, the doors, and keep your vehicle locked at all times! • The propane gas grill and fire-pit on site are NOT AN ADVERTISED AMENITY - adequate gas level in propane tanks is NOT guaranteed. Should you desire to use the grill, you may, but only under the condition that you acknowledge you are responsible for covering costs should you need a new propane tank. • Hot tub - The hot tub is serviced every Wednesday, so someone may stop by during your stay, but they will NOT enter the home. Please keep in mind that if a complete drain and fill service is needed, it may take up to 48-72 hours for the hot tub to come up to full temperature. Please be very aware of your surroundings and notice that the Hot Tub is not entirely private. It can be seen from the street, so for your protection and that of passers by, please use discretion, especially during daytime hours. Close the hot tub cover after each use. No glass or food in the hot tub. • Remove your shoes indoors to help keep the space clean. Treat the property with care, as if it were your own. • *Plumbing/Septic - This home runs on a septic system, and the plumbing is very sensitive. Please do not flush wipes (of any kind, even if the packaging says they are flushable), hygiene products, paper towels, facial tissues, or anything else not meant for the toilet. Please reach out to us with any questions, and thank you in advance for your cooperation!* • *NO A/C - There is no air conditioning as the summer in the mountains is very temperate.* • If you cause any damage to the home, inside or out, you will be charged for the repair and/or replacement costs. • Check-out time is 10 AM. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late check-out times. Fines will be incurred for violation. • Doorbell Camera - There is a motion-activated camera on the front porch and back alley that records video. • Please read ALL House Rules thoroughly: No pets, no parties, and no smoking is allowed in the home. This is not a party spot! Quiet hours are from 10 PM - 8 AM. Any noise violations or complaints from neighbors will result in immediate eviction. We appreciate your courtesy. • 24/7 Premium Guest Support • With Effortless Stay , every property is professionally cleaned to the highest standards after every stay. Our comprehensive turnover process ensures a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment for all our guests. •There is not guest access to the mailbox at this unit. Please do not have packages or deliveries made if you will not be present to receive them. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or missing mail/packages. •Please note we are not liable for left items. Returns incur a $50 fee plus shipping costs. Any items not claimed within 24 hours of checkout are donated or discarded.
