Xcacel beach is only an 18 minute walk from the house. The walk to Chemuyil village is about the same. The Xel-Há archaeological site is only about 10 minutes bicycling. Other things to note IMPORTANT: No pets are allowed in the house. Please do not feed stray cats. You may find the weather so pleasant that AC is not necessary most of the time. The AC units are very efficient at lowering the humidity but the temperature will NOT GO BELOW 72f or 22c. Guests are expected to turn off all AC units when not in the house. Please turn off the living area AC when ready for sleep. Just FYI, having the windows open keeps the air flowing and one can enjoy the sweet sounds of local tropical birds.
