The space In addition to your accommodation, you can enjoy the comfort of an E.S.E. pad machine with delicious coffee from our in-house roastery. As a special extra, we invite you daily from 9:00 to 11:00 for a free breakfast in the cafe directly in the entrance area. Enjoy a croissant or a slice of braid with jam, a hot drink of your choice and a glass of orange juice. If you feel like more, you can always upgrade your breakfast with a delicacy from our brunch card at an extra cost. If we are on vacation, no worries! We will inform the bakery, and he will deliver breakfast directly to you. It also includes a croissant, jam, coffee, and orange juice. On Monday there is a day of rest and the breakfast offer does not apply. If the baker is also on vacation, we are unfortunately unable to offer breakfast. But breakfast is also a gift to you that you do not pay in the room price. So if we can, we are happy to offer it. It leads directly to the bathroom and creates a thoughtful, compact layout. • Bathroom – The bathroom is accessible through the kitchen and boasts all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. This apartment is perfect for solo travelers, couples and business travelers looking for a practical and stylish place to stay. With the central location, you can reach shops, restaurants and public transport in just a few minutes' walk. Guest access If our coffee shop is open, we'd love to welcome you and give you the key so you can check into your Airbnb listing. Outside our opening hours, you check in independently. At the front door is the corresponding key box with a key in it to check in independently to your Airbnb accommodation. During your stay you have the exclusive use of the whole property. The property has a sleeping and living area, with a practical kitchen and bathroom. The lockable bathroom has a toilet and a bath/shower tub. The apartment is on the second floor, i.e. 2nd floor During our opening hours, our guests can leave their luggage and other items for storage at the coffee shop until they can check in or after they have checked out independently and want to explore the surroundings until departure. Other things to note Other things to note In Switzerland, the payment of the visitor's tax is mandatory. In Bern it is 5.30 CHF per person per night, for under 16 years 1.50 CHF per person per night. We will request the amount separately via the Airbnb app. In return, you will receive the Bern Ticket, which allows you to use the bus and tram in zones 100/101 free of charge. From Tuesday to Saturday between 9 am - 4 pm and on Sunday between 9 am - 6 pm we are personally there for you at Ferdinand Coffee. The coffee shop is closed on Mondays. Whether for work or leisure, a mix of comfort, urban diversity and a prime location awaits you here! In our charming accommodation, we have tried to create a cozy oasis from the old rooms. Of course, the building is a bit outdated – there may be one or two “vintage” details or a small sign of wear. But don't worry! Our rooms are sparkling clean and have everything you need to be completely comfortable. Perfect is boring – we offer you character and coziness! Transparency is also very important to us. This room faces the street where a tram runs. The first tram passes at 5:42 a.m. and the last tram passes at 1:01 a.m. This should not bother you too much, but we would like to mention it here.
