One of the most photographed spots in Granada — magical light at sunset and direct views of towers and walls. Calle Bañuelo takes its name from El Bañuelo, the 11th-century Arab baths on Carrera del Darro. A short but fascinating visit: cold, warm and hot rooms; arches and star-shaped skylights. Easy to see in 15–20 minutes. What to see nearby: – The full Carrera del Darro, with its bridges and balcony-lined houses. – Church of San Pedro y San Pablo, with a Mudéjar portal. – Casa de Zafra, Albaicín interpretation center. – Casa del Horno del Oro, a Nasrid palace with patio. – Viewpoints: Carvajales (quiet), San Nicolás (frontal Alhambra view, 15–20 min uphill), San Cristóbal. – Sacromonte via Camino del Sacromonte: caves, flamenco zambras, valley views.
