Wonderful family retreat in Cornwall

Located on the edge of Bodmin Moor, on a working farm, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, this charming restored 16th century barn is warm and luxurious. The cottage has full underfloor heating from our biomass boiler and a log burner too. There's great outdoor playgrounds. Perfect base for walkers, cyclists, and families alike. The space This cottage is an upside down house, with entrances both to the front and the rear of the property. There is plenty of space to park for up to two cars. Entering the property from the front, on the ground floor there is a children's bedroom sleeping up to three children. This bedroom has a beautiful tree themed bunk bed, perfect for sleeping three children. Two of these beds are full size singles. There is space in the room for a separate cot where required. Just down the corridor is a family bathroom equipped with a large bath and rainfall shower, along with a toilet and wash basin. The washing machine is also in this bathroom, hidden away in a cupboard. The spacious master bedroom is tucked away at the bottom of the property, offering peace and quiet to its guests. This room has an adjoining nursery with a cot and changing station - perfect for a little one. The master bedroom boasts a kingsize bed and a smart TV. Moving upstairs, there is a fully equipped kitchen diner with an oven, microwave, slow cooker, fridge/freezer, induction hob and dishwasher. Children's chairs, highchairs, plates and cutlery are available. The kitchen also has a Nespresso coffee machine. The living area is equipped with comfortable sofas, a television (with smart functions) and a log burner. There are toys for the children, but these can be removed upon request. There is a safe private garden with a patio area to the front of the property, perfect for a BBQ and some outdoor dining. This property is fully equipped for babies and toddlers; with cots, highchairs, stair gates, toys and games. Fast WiFi is available throughout the property. There is also underfloor heating throughout. A short walk from the property (around 30 seconds) is The Swim Shed; an idyllic indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi with barrel sauna. Swimming lessons are available from Lucy the host who lives on site. Please be advised the swimming pool and lessons are available at an extra cost (discounted from normal rates) and are for exclusive use. Guest access Guests can also use our large outdoor play areas with large play tractor and trailer, pirate ship, castle, nest swing, large covered sand pit and ride on tractors. We are a working farm. but there is no a guest access to the farm it's self or the animals we keep. We ask guests not to go past the big farm gates behind the car park where there are tractors at work and potential hazards. Onsite we have The SwimShed which houses an indoor endless training pool particularly good for triathlon or competitive swimmers, there's jacuzzi and sauna available for an additional charge, please message for details. Coaching available from experienced A.S.A swimming teacher. Babysitters available most evenings. Access to our private woodland and stretch of the river Camel. Other things to note Private parking. There are 2 good pubs within walking distance, and a coffee shop a short walk away at the start of the Camel trail. We have save bike storage available too.
