Welcome to Country Roads Cottage! Relax under an acre of trees, enjoy the quiet fire pit and hammock or have coffee on the beautiful new deck. A wood stove (and baseboard heat) keeps you warm. Complete with satellite internet, games, dvds, and books. Close to everything- 5 min to state park, 15 min to Wisp and 10 min to Oakland. Kitchen is fully stocked. In our cozy cottage, you can play outside or relax indoors. You will enjoy the seclusion and making memories at the Country Roads Cottage! The space The master bedroom has a king bed with a brand new Helix mattress and plenty of room to move around. There is a smart tv above the dresser. The "kids" room has a queen bed with a twin bunk above. Perfect for a second couple or the kids! Both bedrooms have a large window out to the trees in the back- perfect to wake up and have a cup of coffee. But there are also blackout curtains for those late mornings. The open concept kitchen/living room has a fully stocked kitchen (coffee, flour, sugar, spices, syrup), a smart tv, and wood stove. The brand new large deck off the living room offers additional space for dining and has a gas fireplace for those chilly nights. If you are visiting in the winter, please consider having 4 wheel drive. The roads will be plowed, but many side roads (ours included) will not be fully cleared. Guest access You will have full access to the entire house. We will send the access code 24 hours before arrival. Other things to note We love your furry family members, but please make sure they are as respectful as you during their stay. If you plan to use the fireplace- pick up some wood on your way in. There is $6 a bundle shed at the intersection of 219 and Glendale Rd- a couple miles away. Our road is not paved. It is easily navigated in good weather, but if there is a lot of snow, we recommend a vehicle that can handle the snow.
