Monheim is centrally located between Nuremberg, Augsburg and Ingolstadt, conveniently located directly on the B2. The Altmühltal Nature Park, the Franconian Lake District and the Donau-Ries holiday region surround the small town. Our vacation home in the Monheimer Alb is located just a few kilometers from the border triangle (Swabia, Upper Bavaria, Middle Franconia) and is ideally suited as a starting point for countless excursions, extended hikes, Nordic walking and cycling tours on the numerous well-developed bike paths. In summer, Monheim also offers a nostalgic outdoor pool and in the autumn and winter months a new modern indoor pool with wellness and children's pool. Shops, such as supermarkets and a drugstore, as well as a snack bar, are in the immediate vicinity and are easily accessible on foot. Fresh rolls and pretzels are also available on Sundays, at the nearby gas station or at the bakeries 1 km away.
