Fully furnished first floor, open plan, apartment in a recently built Kentish style barn as an annex to the main house. Beautiful location nestled in the heart of the Garden of England in East Kent but within easy access of motorways and rail links. Ideal for those wishing to explore the local countryside, food and wine hostileries, the arts and historical buildings. NB. Airbnb bookings only accepted from guests who have verified accounts with at least three previous positive stays. The space Selling is a small village with a local pub and railway station. Less than 2 miles away is the picturesque village of Chilham. There are rail links to London, Ashford, Canterbury and the Kent coast. Nearby is the medieval market town of Faversham, Cathedral City of Canterbury and Coastal towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay. Margate, Broadstairs, Dover and Folkestone are all within reach (20-30 miles). * Airbnb bookings only accepted from guests who have verified accounts with at least three previous positive stays * Suitable for families and friends. Sleeps up to four with a kingsize bed, sofabed and chairbed. Only suitable for children over 8 * First floor accessible via stairs. Fire evaculation via stairs or balconies therefore not recommended for visitors with compromised mobility or younger children * No pets. No smoking, no vaping, no e-cigarettes, no illegal substances or similar on the premises. No parties. Due to fire, trip and insurance reasons portable domestic chargers/‘granny charger’/‘trickle charger’ and use of internal/external plug points are prohibited. Cannister Hall Apartment is self-contained with its own secure entrance off a shared driveway. The owners live next door. Oak stairs to first floor with bright, contemporary living space with dining area overlooking countryside through juliet balcony. Door to shower-room and WC off living space. Open plan access to kitchen and sleeping area. Sleeping area divided by media wall with Smart TV. Juliet balcony with fine views of orchards and surrounding countryside from your sumptuous king size bed. King size bed in dedicated bedroom. Small double sofa-bed in living area, would sleep two at a pinch. Also a small single folding chair-bed, size of bunk-bed, in living area * Outside paved seating area with patio table and chairs * Secure driveway with electric gate, 24hr CCTV recording, PIR security lighting * Private garden * Secure bike storage on request * Washing machine and tumble drier (add on option) * Shared drive with us (Sarah and Stephen) the owners who live in the adjacent main house and who are are on hand for guests should they have any queries or require local information. . Guest access Unsuitable for visitors with mobility challenges due to stairs and fire escape route. Other things to note 1. Please enjoy our apartment and respect it as a home from home; leave it tidy as you found it . Accidents happen, please let us know so we can deal with them promptly, there may be a charge for excessive mess or damage. 2. You are welcome to have visitors, just clear it with us first please, (security & insurance requirements). Third party providers (e.g. caterers, private chefs etc.) and extra guests are not permitted without our prior written permission. No parties. 3. Strictly no smoking, no vaping and no illegal drug use in the apartment or on the balconies. You may smoke or vape outside but smoking materials must be properly disposed of. 4. No pets/animals. 5. No film production. Drones may not be flown over this or any neighbouring properties. 6. Please be courteous to the neighbours regards noise, this is a peaceful area. 7. Illegal substances are not permitted on site. 8. Due to fire risks no: BBQ’s, fires, fireworks, naked flames, incense or candles inside or outside and no camping in the garden. 9. Currently there is no electric vehicle charging facility. Due to fire, trip and insurance reasons portable domestic chargers/‘granny charger’/‘trickle charger’) are prohibited. Please do not misuse internal/external plug points. 10. Hair/beard dye, fake tan and make-up look great but can make a terrible mess; stains & damage will incur a charge. 11. We have an eco-friendly septic tank so please only flush the toilet paper provided down the toilet. Bags & bins are provided for wipes/buds/sanitary products. 12. No shoes inside as our stunning oak staircase is bespoke and we want to protect it. Slippers are available in the lobby. 13. There is a large dual bin in the kitchen that enables you to seperate recycling from general rubbish. Also a food caddy for food waste. 14. We have integrated USB ports on many sockets for charging of devices NB. NOT to leave them charging when out of the apartment. 15. There is an outside tap on the left hand side of the barn to clean muddy shoes/wellies from your countryside walk. You will find a couple of old towels in the lobby for drying shoes & boots 16. The ceiling fan in the bedroom is operated by a remote control on the bedside table. First turn on the wall light switch to then control both the lighting and the fan using the remote unit. 17. Please close all windows and doors when leaving the apartment and the windows if it rains heavily 18. See T's&C's agreed on booking for further information.
