This loft-inspired renovated barn is truly one of a kind. Whether you’re in the area for a wedding or a romantic getaway the Black Barn is the place to stay. With a choice of vineyards, breweries, strawberry picking or walking the trails of the Riverhead Forest there is something for everyone. 15 mins drive to the beautiful black sand beach of Muriwai, famous for its gannet colony, surfing, golf course and stunning sunsets. Sorry we have a strict NO parties policies The space A large open plan living area, with bi-fold doors allowing for amazing flow from the lounge and bar area to the entertaining deck, bbq and spa. This area is completely private and yours alone to enjoy. The spa is under cover, making it perfect place to relax and unwind even on a rainy night, watch a movie on the outdoor big screen or enjoy a drink on the deck, this is the perfect space to have a romantic getaway. Look out for our 1 bedroom option also called the black barn. ‘Alexa’ can help you find the right songs, shut the blinds, turn the kettle on from bed, all you have to do is ask. The spacious bedroom has a super king bed and ample wardrobe storage, and the bathroom has a large tiled walk-in shower. The small but functional kitchenette has a fridge-freezer, microwave, dish drawer, toaster, electric frying pan and kettle. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar along with cooking and washing up basics are provided for your stay. Both a washing machine and dryer are in the laundry and washing powder capsules are provided for your convenience. Heat pumps throughout the Black Barn ensure you will be warm and cosy during winter stays or breezy cool in summer. Guest access Please feel free to wander the properties gardens, the main driveway and external gardens are shared. The barn, spa and deck area are completely private and yours exclusively to enjoy. There is one car space for guest. We do ask you to please keep the communal driveway clear at ALL times and happily provide an alternate driveway for parking if you have more than one car Other things to note Our driveway is shared so if you are expecting more than one car please follow our alternate parking instructions, provided in guidebook Sorry NO unauthorized groups or parties allowed.
