ARRIVAL NOTE Cremorne Ferry is temporarily closed for renovations. Due to open December 2025. The same service runs from Old Cremorne and the walk takes a few minutes longer. There are some stairs up from that ferry and along the path. When the ferry reopens, the walk around is level with only a few stairs to enter the property from the rear. If you're arriving by car, please note that access to the property involves a flight of exterior stairs - one level down - so it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. THE AREA The property is set beside a clifftop on the scenic Cremorne Walk, offering spectacular views and a peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere. Stroll past historic gardens, take the hidden steps down to the water, or visit the nearby heritage lighthouse. The area is home to amazing birdlife - and in the early morning, you may even hear the animals waking up across the water at Taronga Zoo as the sun rises behind it. In the evening, the patio becomes a peaceful retreat as dusk settles - an ideal spot for a quiet drink and a moment to unwind. On weekends, the harbour can come alive with the sound of boats and occasional festivities out on the water. While the area is usually calm, you might hear a bit of vibrant harbour life, especially in warmer months - most guests find it adds to the charm of the location. Cremorne Point is a nature reserve and home to some big and noisy birds. The brush turkey may wander up to to the patio and steal your biscuits, if they are left unattended!
