If you like to get to know the life of the locals, this is the right place for you! Casa Azul Apartment is a small private guesthouse with 3 furnished apartments and 3 rooms with private bathroom. The house is located in the middle of a residential area of Puerto Plata. It is located in a typical "barrio" and you get to experience life in POP first hand. It is ideal for families, couples, sports enthusiasts and individual tourists who want to see more than just the hotel beach. The space The apartment has its own ground level entrance, has a fully equipped kitchen in the living room, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. Due to an additional bed, the apartment can accommodate 1-3 people. There is air conditioning in the bedroom. Ceiling fans are located in the bedroom as well as in the living room. Room amenities also include a desk ideal for home office, a clothing racks and a TV. Further, you have access to many shared areas such as the balcony, the large roof terrace with views of the sea and the mountain 'Pico Isabel de Torres' equipped with sun loungers and the patio with a seating area. A water dispenser with drinking water is available in the apartment and the use of the guest washing machine is free of charge (use of your own detergent). Guest access Bright, fun, clean residence in a classic Dominican neighbourhood with several 'comedor' and 'colmado' close-by and bigger supermarkets within a 5-10 minutes walk. The Malecón and public beaches are a short ride or a 15 minutes walk away (~1.5 km). Free parking in front of the guesthouse on the public road. The guesthouse is situated close to public transport stations. Other things to note I will be happy to provide information on the use of public transport as well as possible activities and excursions in the area. Upon request, I will conduct private excursions. There is also the possibility to rent bicycles. The accommodation has free WIFI with a private modem in the apartment.
