Welcome to The Lakeside Retreat

You'll have a great time at this peaceful, quiet, cozy home nestled in the woods. This wooded 13 acre paradise overlooking the private lake is only a few miles from Hwy 44. You'll find the 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with just over 1500 square foot of living space perfect for your weekend getaway. Offering fishing at your leisure, with use of a kayak or canoe, along with the dock. There's also walking trails through the woods. Don't forget the hottub, and fire pit will make for perfect evening. The space The master bedroom has a view of the lake from the queen size bed , along with a door leading out to the hottub for your enjoyment. There's also a TV in this room with basic cable. The other front bedroom with a full size bed also a beautiful view of the lake as well. The back bedroom has a queen size bed, and is perfect for that quite ,and cozy feel. There's also a full laundry room for use off of the kitchen. Let's not forget the garage it's more so a Mancave for those fun nights shooting pool, playing darts or maybe watching TV or just listening to music of your choice. In the living room there's a wood burning fireplace for your use. Firewood is provided. There's also a fire pit outside! The lake is stocked with bass , crappie, catfish, bluegill. Have fun catching! The dock can be a place to soak up the sun or maybe jumping in the lake to cool off, having your fun. If you feel up to going on a short hike there are trails that are in process of being marked, but are easy to walk. We hope you enjoy the home and property for all it offers you. As much as we do. Guest access The entire home is available for use, except for personal areas which are locked and/or taped over to secure home owners personal belongings. These include closets, some cabinets and drawers. The refrigerator is a shared common area with use of the freezer. Other things to note This home has an occupancy of no more than 6 people at any given time. Anyone not registered within the booking is unauthorized to be on premises. This INCLUDES, vistors that are not staying overnight. ""Violating this will forfeit your current stay along with being charged accordingly for the guests that are not already included in your reservation along with an additional cleaning fee of 85.00."" Exceptions may be permitted if asked prior to arrival. The property is pet friendly. A non-refundable pet fee of 125.00 is required. Add this fee with your booking by selecting pets in your guest count, otherwise your registration will need to be amended accordingly prior to your arrival. We also comply with ADA regulations, and welcome Registered Service Animals. ESA's (Emotional Support Animals) are allowed at this property but still incur the $125.00 pet fee. **Registered Service Animal requirements: 1. The Service Animal //ESA// Pet may not be left unattended without crate or using the pen located in the garage /Mancave. 2.Must be on a leash when outside. 3.Owners are required to pick up all pet waste. **No cats allowed. For all other pets please contact us. Note, guest will accept all dangers of the property during their stay and will not attempt to hold the Host/Cohost, or "property-owner" liable for any unforeseen accidents, incidents during their stay at the Lake Side Retreat, regardless of the circumstances.
