The cabin is above the main house by way of driveway that at times requires a 4x4 car. AWD and front wheel drive are recommended. The mountain location provides the amazing views and jungle solitude. The cabin is perfect for solo travelers, couples, and small families. If you have a larger group, you can book an additional cabin or house we have available. Torio Casa Fulo (6 people) is located close to the cabin and Torio Garden Studio (4 people) is located nearby in the Finca. Guests have access to the Skate Ramp located at the main house. There is a large Iguana that lives in a neighboring tree for example. Blue Morpho butterflies and Birds of all arrays, including parrots and toucans visit our little jungle nook. There are two creeks that are often watering holes for large mammals, including Coati, Agouti, and Howler Monkeys. You will also probably discover an insect or two you have never seen before. The cabin is modern and built to keep the jungle outside. However, it is possible for some unwanted guests at times. There are several jungle trails on the property for the more adventurous! Rural Disclaimer: Torio is located in a rural area. Phone signal can be weak or non existent at times. The electrical service can have power surges and outages. This can last a few seconds to several hours sometimes. We have reserve water storage and our hot water heater and stove burners are powered by gas, so you will not lose any of these luxuries. The cabin is supplied with a battery operated fan as well.
