Guest access We are inside a resort with an area of more than 98,000m2 composed of hotel sector, residential sector, Marina and permanent environmental preservation area that corresponds to 60% of the total area. Entry is through the security of the complex and is restricted to hotel guests, occupants of the residences and Marina users. The entire Costabella complex has 24-hour security and continuous rounds day and night. All the outdoor areas of Costabella are common and shared... courts, swimming pools, beach, Play Ground, marina and gardens are open for free access and use by all resort guests, as are the hotel's indoor common areas such as the lobby, restaurant and bars, as well as the Marina shopping centre, where our second restaurant, Estrela do Mar... We have 2 beaches within the area of the environmental reserve an artificial in the private area of the reserve (Costabella Resort & Marina) and other natural in the public area of the reserve. One is inside the complex and is less than a 2-minute walk from the property. The other is outside the resort, but within our grounds, it is a public beach and is part of the environmental reserve and is less than a 5-minute walk. The water quality of our 2 beaches and the Caputera River that makes estuary right in front of Costabella is monitored by a biologist who makes daily visits where he also monitors the health of the ecosystem that surrounds the entire resort. Our idyllic swimming pool is just by the beach, has 3,000m2 of reflecting water with bridges, islands, beaches and a wet bar that serves portions and drinks and is served by two lifeguards. As we are INSIDE a reservation there is A LOT of wildlife all around. Capivaras comes to drink water in our swimming pool at dawn. We are inside an area where nature is lush and wild... tamarins, herons, toucans, maritacas and parakeets surround us and it is common to see the flocks early in the morning and late in the afternoon. In our mangrove that is clean and healthy, many fish breed and live in it and there we have comb turtles, which come to breed there and some stayed there and live in the mangrove and the sand on our beach is full of clams... Once a day, bran is placed for the birds to come to eat and life is shown in all colors and corners in this little paradise! Due to the abundance of fish, it is common at night to see shoals of anchovies swimming in the bloom of the water fleeing the onslaught of sea bass... It is forbidden to fish inside the reserve, but a little beyond, there are some rows outside it the fishing is abundant and bountiful...
