Children play outside in the mornings and afternoons, usually around two hours per day. The nursery closes at 6pm, Monday to Friday. Guests wishing to book the car are kindly asked to send us a message after booking to proceed with the reservation. ⸻ ⚠️ House Notes As this is a luxury apartment with delicate wallpaper and premium furnishings, we kindly ask all guests—especially families with children—to take care and avoid scratches or damage. Should any damage occur, repair or replacement costs may be charged to the guest. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the common areas on the -2 floor, which include a shared swimming pool and a changing room with bathroom facilities (first door on the right near the pool). Please note that parties are not allowed. We kindly ask all guests to dispose of their trash to ensure the space remains pleasant for everyone. On the upper level of the pool area, a long corridor offers breathtaking views of Cabo Girão — perfect for a scenic stroll. For guests without a car, stairs from the -2 floor lead to rustic stone steps descending through the banana plantations. At the end of the path, you will find a green gate, which can be opened with the blue key provided. This gate leads to a tunnel that connects directly to the avenue, allowing you to reach the village center in under 5 minutes on foot. For guests with a car, a private parking space is available. The garage remote will be provided in the smart locker for your convenience. Please note: guests who lose their keys will incur a €50 replacement fee Other things to note For our guests who rent our apartment for more than 10 days, we offer a cleaning service. We change the bed linens and towels. We also provide toilet paper and coffee and tea capsules. All our guests are required to provide their full name, date of birth, passport number, nationality, and place of residence so that we can submit this information to the CEF (Foreigners and Border Services) under Article 45 of the Schengen Agreement and the recent local accommodation law in Portugal. The tourist tax (Câmara Municipal de Câmara de Lobos) regulation number states that accommodations in Câmara de Lobos have a fee of €2 per person per night (children up to 13 years old are exempt). This fee must be paid via bank transfer. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF THE TOURIST TAX IS NOT PAID ALONG WITH ALL THE REQUESTED INFORMATION, THE GUEST RISKS NOT RECEIVING THE CODE TO ENTER THE APARTMENT.
