Welcome to our cozy and unique yurt retreat, located on the banks of Thunder Bay River in Atlanta, Michigan. Our tranquil and rustic yurt is an ideal destination for a peaceful getaway, offering a one-of-a-kind lodging experience in the beauty of nature. The yurt boasts a charming and inviting interior, featuring a comfortable queen-size bed, a cozy sitting area and plenty of blankets. A secluded set up just steps away from the stunning views of the river and the surrounding forest. The space Outside, you’ll find a spacious hangout area with a picnic table and Adirondack chairs, where you can relax and soak up the lovely river views while enjoying a meal or a cup of coffee. There is also a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, making s’mores, or simply enjoying the warmth of the fire while listening to the sounds of the river and the wildlife. Our property is situated on a private piece of land with ample opportunities for outdoor adventures such as fishing, kayaking, meditation and wildlife viewing. Whether you’re seeking a romantic retreat, a solo escape, or a friends getaway, our yurt is the perfect place to unwind and recharge in a peaceful and serene setting. Guest access Guests have access to their own private yurt, 2 kayaks, the joint outdoor fire pit area and grill as well as the river. Restrooms are a private room in the nearby lodge with locking doors, shared by the other glamping sites.
